Historically Black College and University (HBCU) Marching Band...

... is a culture all its own. From predrill to gameday, boots to Bandos, this bond transcends the Alma Mater and stretches far and wide to each and everyprogram. 

True BandHeads are formed years before college. Young enthusiasts pick up their first instruments in elementary school and race to YouTube to start learning their favorite fanfares. Children sit atop their parents’ shoulders at Homecomings and Classics imitating the chants to their favorite songs. Some BandHeadsnever even march but can perform entire dance routines from memory. 

We think its time the HBCU Marching Band community had a platform of its own, and we believe that BandHeads is the foundation.
